Columbia River PUD Innovates Warehouse Inventory Practices

In May 2025, we took a trip to Deer Island Oregon where the team at Columbia River PUD welcomed our MOBILETrak crew for a two-day, hands-on implementation of their new warehouse management solution.

The Columbia River team brought focus, curiosity, and a strong commitment to improving their inventory processes. Together, we trained staff and configured the system to align with their needs—all with an eye toward maximizing the benefits of MOBILETrak WMS for NISC-iVue. Columbia River PUD is well on its way to achieving real-time, accurate inventory management. We’re thrilled to support them as they unlock the full potential of MOBILETrak and continue investing in operational excellence.

Columbia River PUD serves about 20,385 electric meters in Columbia County, Oregon.

About Columbia River PUD

“PUDs are known for offering affordable, cost-based rates and exceptional customer service tailored to local needs. Many have access to low-cost hydropower from the Federal Columbia River Hydropower System, helping keep energy prices down. Beyond just providing electricity, Oregon’s PUDs play an active role in supporting local economies, paying property taxes, promoting conservation efforts, and offering energy efficiency programs for homes and businesses.”

“From their origins during the rural electrification efforts of the 1930s to their role today as leaders in renewable energy innovation, PUDs remain deeply rooted in the communities they serve. Columbia River PUD, along with others like Emerald and Tillamook, exemplifies this commitment through reliable service, local accountability, and a forward-thinking approach to energy solutions.”
